Terms & Conditions – SERENITY HILLS(California)

1. Purpose

These Terms & Conditions govern the booking and participation in wellness retreats organized in California. By making a reservation, the participant agrees to these terms.

2. Booking & Confirmation

All reservations must be made through the website and are subject to availability.

A booking is considered confirmed only after:

  • Receipt of payment, and

  • Confirmation email sent by the organizer

The organizer reserves the right to refuse any booking at their discretion.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in USD unless stated otherwise.

Retreat packages may include:

  • Accommodation

  • Meals

  • Yoga, wellness, or other guided activities

Unless otherwise specified, the following are not included:

  • Transportation (flights, transfers)

  • Travel or medical insurance

  • Personal expenses

Payment terms:

  • Payment may be required in full or via a deposit followed by a remaining balance

  • Full payment must be completed before the retreat start date

  • Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation without refund

4. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation terms may vary depending on the retreat and will be specified at the time of booking.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • More than 30 days before the retreat: partial refund may apply

  • Between 15 and 30 days: limited refund may apply

  • Less than 15 days: no refund

Bookings may be:

  • Transferred to another participant (subject to approval)

  • Rescheduled (subject to availability and conditions)

5. Changes or Cancellation by Organizer

The organizer reserves the right to modify or cancel a retreat due to:

  • Force majeure (including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, or emergencies)

  • Insufficient number of participants

  • Unforeseen circumstances beyond reasonable control

In such cases, participants will be offered:

  • A refund, OR

  • A credit for a future retreat

The organizer is not responsible for any additional expenses incurred (e.g., flights, accommodations outside the retreat).

6. Health & Responsibility

Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically and mentally fit to take part in retreat activities.

By participating, the participant acknowledges that:

  • Activities may involve physical movement and inherent risks

  • Participation is voluntary and at their own risk

The organizer shall not be held liable for injuries, health issues, or accidents except in cases of proven negligence.

7. Insurance

Participants are strongly encouraged to purchase appropriate insurance, including:

  • Travel insurance

  • Medical insurance

  • Cancellation insurance

Insurance is not included unless explicitly stated.

8. Personal Belongings

The organizer is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during the retreat.

9. Code of Conduct

Participants agree to behave respectfully toward others and follow all retreat guidelines.

The organizer reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate, without refund.

10. Privacy

Personal information collected during booking is used solely for:

  • Managing reservations

  • Communicating with participants

Data will not be sold or shared with third parties except as required to operate the retreat.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.

12. Acceptance

By booking a retreat, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
